Emily Victoria Jayne, 17, of Lancaster, passed away November 3, 2022. She is the daughter of Larry Jayne of Lancaster and Anna “Niki” Jayne of Danville. Emily was a senior at Garrard County High School and was an artist, who loved to draw. She loved her cat, Dexter and was a member of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church. Emily could light up a room with her smile and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her parents; sister, Lauren Elizabeth Jayne of Lexington; a brother, Nicholas Tyler Jayne of Danville; grandparents, Ken and Lawanna Clendaniel of Lancaster; aunt, Mary Rush (Charles) of Danville; uncle, Dewayne Obrian (Katrina) of Jackson County, Kentucky, and cousins, Ben and Chloe Rush of Danville and Willie, Faith, and Hope Obrian of Jackson County, Kentucky. Emily is preceded in death by a grandmother, Bonnie Jo Obrian. Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ben Rush, Charles Rush, Dewayne Obrian, Devin Taul, Mark Meek, and Sam Travis. Memorial contributions are preferred to Celebrate Recovery at Forks of Dix River Baptist Church or Isiah House in Danville.
