Gloria Dean Beal Jeffries, 89, of Moreland passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Born August 15, 1933, in Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of the late Wesley Beal and Edith Beal Atwood. Gloria Dean was happiest when she was caring for her family, and she especially loved young children. She was a member of Moreland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.H. “Bill” Jeffries; daughter, Lucretia Peyton; great grandson, Caden Moon; and 3 siblings: Jo Spears, Floyd Beal, and Leonard Beal. Gloria Dean is survived by her son, Harold (Diane) Jeffries of Stanford; Danny (Barbara) Jeffries and Daphne Blevins, both of Liberty; sister, Anita Durham of Campbellsville; brothers: Bobby, Algie, Ira Jr., Ronnie and Keith Atwood, all of Liberty; five grandchildren: Jeffrey Moon of Harrodsburg, Travis Peyton of Harrodsburg, Stephanie “Will” Gentry of Salvisa, Brandon (Kimberly) Jeffries of Stanford, and Rebecca Jeffries of Stanford; 8 great grandchildren: Peyton, Maggie, and Kora Gentry, Allison Moon, Carter and Micager Peyton, and Parker and Caleb Jeffries; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Grayson and Braxton Harmon. Visitation is 12-2pm, Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2 pm with Bro. Eric Douglas officiating. Burial will be at Hustonville Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jeffrey Moon, Travis Peyton, Brandon Jeffries, Will Gentry, Mike Spears, and Ricky Peyton. Memorial Contributions are suggested to Gideons International or Moreland Baptist Church.
