Morning Pointe offers webinar on dementia

The Morning Pointe Foundation is partnering with Alzheimer’s Tennessee to offer a Caregiver Café webinar on dementia on Jan. 24 at 6:30 p.m.
Guest speaker Cheryl Blanchard, LMSW, CCM, is a certified dementia care specialist and Middle Tennessee regional director. Her presentation is called, “Is Dad Just Confused, or is this Dementia?”
The session will touch on understanding the differences between normal aging and dementia, steps to take if you are concerned a loved one has dementia, and communication and behavior response tips for caregivers.
“The Morning Pointe Foundation and Morning Pointe Senior Living are so pleased to partner with Alzheimer’s Tennessee for this seminar,” said Miranda Perez, Foundation executive director. “Many of our Tennessee locations work hand-in-hand with Alzheimer’s Tennessee in caring for our residents who live with Alzheimer’s and other memory disorders.”
