“Centre College and CentreWorks have the same goal as our bank, building a community,” Maynard said. “Through their programs for not just Centre students but all members of the community they are working to build entrepreneurship in the area. They have already made huge strides and we wanted to help keep it going. It is a win win situation for everybody involved.”

Anthony and Andrea Margida were grateful for the continued support from Community Trust Bank.

“We are incredibly thankful to David and the bank,” said Andrea Margida. “They are really making a statement about helping us build a more inclusive and resilient community.”

“Community Trust has been a day one supporter of CentreWorks,” said Anthony Margida, “We are so appreciative of their continued support. It enables us to continue our mission.”

Goldey hopes that Community Trust Bank’s support can inspire Centre students.

“Community is in their name and they are really putting their support into the community by contributing to CentreWorks,” said Goldey. “CentreWorks has a new group of entrepreneurs coming into the Lift Off program this month working closely with Centre students to build new businesses and build the economically vital community that we have. I think this is away for our students to see what it actually means to engage with the community and make a real difference. That is what college is all about.”
