Gatherings Artists Spring Exhibit Opening Reception

The Boyle County Public Library will host "Something New, Something Blue," the Gathering Artists Spring 2023 Exhibit in the Mahan Gallery from March 3 through April 12. The exhibit will feature the works of over 20 regional artists. Each piece of art reflects the exhibit title, being both recent and primarily blue, no matter what the subject matter. The art displayed will include paintings, drawings, jewelry, quilts, felted pieces, handwoven items, and more—all in shades of blue (with white and black, and some with dashes of other colors). Much of the art will be for sale. An opening reception for the exhibit will be held at the Library on Friday, March 3 from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. All are invited to attend.

Gathering Artists is a group of regional visual artists and fine craftspeople who have been meeting together since 1995. Meetings are held monthly on the second Saturday at 10:15 AM at the Art Center of the Bluegrass.

New artists are welcome.
