William Allen Webb, 67

William Allen Webb, 67, of Summerfield Fl, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at The Villages Regional Medical Center with his family by his side. Billy was born June 16, 1955 to the late Garland and Vertie Webb.
Billy worked many years at Riffemoor Antiques in Danville and later Bluegrass Dairy in Springfield. He enjoyed collecting and working on old firearms, and collecting a few antiques, and he was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
The last 12 years Billy battled leukemia and lymphoma but fought hard and never complained. His main concern was always his family and others. The last year was confined mainly to hospitals, or at home, but he made the best of it by sitting on his beloved bird cage enjoying the view of the golf course, water and the Florida wildlife, and conversing and solving the world’s problems with his neighbors
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Young.
Survivors include his wife, Renee’ Webb, Summerfield Fl, a son, Billy Jr. (Kathy), a daughter, Ashley Webb (Patrick), Murfreesboro, TN, He was proud to be Papa of five grandchildren Cody Webb (Whitney), Desiree Webb, Hunter Webb, Gran Brothers, Hayden “Tater” Brothers, and two great-grandchildren, Leela and Finn Webb. Also, two sisters, Jean Poynter, Rita Poynter, and one brother Tony Webb.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 3:00 p.m., at Beech Grove Baptist Church with Bro Bobby Estes officiating and Bro Roger Followell assisting.
Honorary pallbearers are Otho Tate, William Graves, Tom Graham, Mark Holmes, Jeff Carpenter, Chris Barnett, Bill Langford, and George Hauber.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society or Heritage Hospice.
Services are under the direction of Walden Funeral Home Perryville, Kentucky.
