UK’s Marrow speaks to Danville Rotarians

Vince Marrow, associate head football coach at University of Kentucky, has had a varied career as an athlete and as a coach. He visited the Danville Rotary Club on April 21 to share his experiences.

Marrow played basketball at Youngstown State University before transferring to the University of Toledo where he finished his college career on the football field. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills and subsequently was on the roster of five NFL teams, as well as the Frankfort Galaxy of NFL Europe and the Orlando Rage of the XFL.

Following his playing career, Marrow began coaching, first with the United Football League and with the University of Nebraska before joining head coach Mark Stoop’s staff at UK in 2012.

As well as being UK’s associate head coach, Marrow also serves as tight ends coach, recruiting coordinator and NFL liaison.
