Vivian Delaney, 77, of Somerset, KY passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at her residence. Born on April 26, 1946 in Waco, KY to the late Wilson and Katie Hunter Cain. She is the widow to the late Robert Delaney, Sr. Vivian was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardens, being in the great outdoors, camping, walking, taking pictures, attending sporting events of her grandchildren and reading her Bible. She attended Pentecostal Fellowship Church in Lancaster, KY.

Survivors include three children, Virena Hampton of Somerset, KY, Robert Delaney, Jr. (Hazel) and Larry Delaney, both of Hustonville, KY; six siblings, Samuel, Sharon, Ida Mae, Betty, Oneida and Evelyn; eleven grandchildren, Justin Delaney, Tiffany Dawson, Brittany Musgrave, Bradley Hampton, breAnna Kirby, Laticia Delaney, Katie Rose Delaney, Emma Grace Delaney, Anita Turpin, Crystal Cunningham and William Bullock; thirteen great-grandchildren, Chase Delaney, Hunter Dawson, Gage Dawson, Dakota Delaney, Remington Dawson, Skyleigh Dawson, Aliya McKinney, Bryson McKinney, Randy Wayne Cunningham, Willie Cunningham, Cash Turpin, Conway Turpin, Tristen Kirby, Nathanial Turpin and William Turpin; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Delaney, Sr.; parents, Wilson and Katie Cain; one son, Henry Delaney; one grandson, Larry Ray Delaney; and several brothers and sisters.

A one-day service will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Ernest Lear officiating. Burial will follow at Double Springs Cemetery.
