Boyle County court records: two receive judgments on rape cases

BOYLE DISTRICT COURT

Cases handled recently in Boyle District Court, listed by name, charge, fine and jail sentence, where applicable, include the following. Court costs also were assessed in most cases.

• Orlando D. Johnson: second-degree sexual abuse, amended to sexual misconduct, 365 days, suspended 160 days, credit for 205 days served, 2 years probation, no contact with victim, mental health assessment; harassing communications, 30 days, suspended 30 days, 2 years probation; third-degree terroristic threatening, 365 days, suspended 160 days, credit for 205 days served, 2 years probation.

• Gregory Allen Elmore: careless driving, $100 fine; driving on DUI suspended license, amended to operating on suspended / revoked license, $100 fine; possession of open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle, $50 fine.

• Sara Dawn Cummins: shoplifting, 90 days, suspended 90 days, 2 years probation, not to be on Walmart property.

• Steven Lorenza Sargent: public intoxication of controlled substance, 30 days, suspended 27 days, credit for 3 days served, 1 year probation; buy / possess drug paraphernalia, 30 days, suspended 30 days, 1 year probation; resisting arrest, same sentencing as above charge.

• Amy Renee Cowherd: shoplifting, 30 days, suspended 29 days, credit for 1 day served, 1 year probation.

• Ashley R. Semones: resisting arrest, 120 days, suspended 90 days, credit for 28 days served, 2 years probation; second-degree disorderly conduct, same sentencing as above charge, concurrent with each other and a Madison County case.

• Amy Scalf: shoplifting, 60 days, suspended 59 days, credit for 1 day served, 2 years probation, not to be on Walmart property.

• Anthony G. Thomas: shoplifting, 30 days, suspended 30 days, 1 year probation, no contact with Device Depot, restitution reserved; operating on suspended / revoked license, $100 fine.

• Trekale Simpson: leaving scene of accident / failure to render aid or assistance, 90 days, suspended 87 days, credit for 3 days served, 2 years probation, restitution $277.11 plus 5% fee; no license, 2 days, credit for 2 days served.

• Richard D. Worthington: public intoxication of controlled substance, 30 days, suspended 30 days, 2 years probation; first-degree possession of controlled substance (meth), amended to attempt, 365 days, suspended 359 days, credit for 6 days served, 2 years probation; possession of controlled substance, 180 days, suspended 180 days, 2 years probation; second-degree disorderly conduct, 30 days, suspended 30 days, 2 years probation.

• Justin D. Rodgers: theft by deception include cold checks between $1,000 and $10,000, amended to between $500 and $1,000, 365 days, suspended 359 days, credit for 6 days served, 1 year probation.

• Sarah A. Douglas: violation of interpersonal protective order, 30 days, suspended 28 days, credit for 2 days served, 1 year probation.

• Michael D. White: shoplifting, 25 days, credit for 25 days served.

• Roy Lee Doss, age 55, of Danville: first-degree sexual abuse, 5 years; first-degree rape victim under 12 years old, amended to first-degree rape, 12 years; first-degree rape, 12 years; 2 counts of first-degree sexual abuse, 5 years on each count.

• Jonathan Wayne Saiter, age 20, of Danville: second-degree rape no force, 10 years; third-degree rape, amended to first-degree sexual abuse, 5 years; 3 counts of promoting sex performance by minor under 16 years of age, amended to minor under 18 years of age, 10 years; second-degree sexual abuse, 12 months; fourth-degree assault domestic violence minor injury, 12 months; third-degree criminal mischief, 90 days; second-degree rape no force, 10 years, concurrent to above charges; third-degree rape, amended to first-degree sexual abuse, 5 years, consecutive to above charges.

• Frederick Falor: second-degree burglary, amended to third-degree, 5 years, suspended 5 years, 5 years probation; $500 fine; theft by unlawful taking or disposition auto between $1,000 and $10,000, 5 years, suspended 5 years, 5 years probation; driving on DUI suspended license – first offense, aggravator, 12 months, suspended 12 months, 5 years probation; DUI third offense aggravated circumstances, $425 DUI fees; intimidating a participant in a legal process, 2 years, suspended 2 years, 5 years probation, consecutive to above charges.

• Shakain Al-Mujahid: first-degree possession of controlled substance (heroin), 2 years, suspended 2 years, 3 years probation; first-degree possession of controlled substance drug unspecified, same time as above charge; no insurance, 90 days, suspended 90 days, 3 years probation.

• Jacob Williams: flagrant non-support, 1 year; first-degree bail jumping, 1 year, time to run consecutively.
