During the monthly Danville School Board meeting on July 10, superintendent Elmer Thomas said that the number of Danville students taking AP exams increased by 10 percent in 2022, compared with the 2021 school year. A total of 67 percent of students are taking advanced placement exams, he said.
Specifically, enrollment in AP calculus and AP statistics exams increased by 100 percent, he said.
“I am really proud of our students and teachers who dedicated themselves to this very challenging curriculum,” Thomas said.
