Finn’s Ice Cream is Danville’s newest ice cream joint.

Owners Jamie and Christy Durham opened the store located at 498 Dillehay St., to celebrate their family’s love of ice cream.

“It comes from a generational idea, the parents, the grand parents, they all love ice cream,” said manager Kim Cole. “They always made sure to spend time together, and ice cream was the center of that. They travel a lot, and they have a tendency to hit up all the ice cream shops. That is what inspired them.”

Finn, the shop’s namesake, is the Durham golden retriever.

“Finn loves and they love Finn,” Cole said. “They thought what a better way than to name the shop after him.”

Finn’s Ice Cream sells Kentucky Proud ice cream from Chaney’s Dairy Barn in Bowling Green and makes their waffle cones in house daily.
