Lisa Gayle Montgomery Fields, 60, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023. She was born August 16, 1963 in Danville, Kentucky to the late William “Bill” and Katherine Johnson Montgomery. Lisa was the beloved wife of Earnest D. Fields, Jr. for 41 years.
Lisa was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church, where Earnest Fields, Jr., pastored. Lisa was loved by all and was very supportive of her husband’s ministry. She was always happiest being with her family.
In addition to her husband, Earnest Fields, Jr., Lisa is survived by special great-nieces Journey Montgomery and Ellen Montgomery, niece, Candace Lyons her brother, Tim (Kathy) Montgomery, her sister, Linda (Elmer) Wells, and several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lisa was predeceased by her daughter, Ashley Gayle Fields, three sisters, Loraine King, Pam Hubbard, Geraldine Holly, two brothers, Mike and Billy Montgomery and special nephew Chris Montgomery.
The funeral service with be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday September 6, 2023 at Pleasant Run Baptist Church with Pastor Earnest Fields, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday September 5, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., also, at the church.
Pallbearers will be Corey Goode, James Hubbard, Jeremy Goode, Stephen Lyons, Chris Fields, and Michael Fields.
