Local runners lead the pack at conference meet

HARRODSBURG – Marshall Hart of Mercer County and Max Germann and Aubrey White of Boyle County were the leaders among local runners Tuesday in the Central Kentucky Conference Championships.
All three runners finished in the top 10 in their respective races at Anderson-Dean Community Park.
Hart finished third and Germann was eighth in the boys race, and White was ninth in the girls race.
Boyle was fifth and Mercer was sixth in the boys team standings, while Mercer was sixth and Boyle was seventh in the girls team standings.
Sixteen teams participated in the meet, including seven area teams.
