Emma Lou Crowell, 96, wife of the late Clarence Edward “Shine” Crowell, II went to be with the Lord Friday, November 10, 2023, at Capstone Generations Sr. Living of Gallatin, TN after a short illness.
Born August 31, 1927, in Memphis, TN, she was the daughter of the late Truman L. and Mildred “Mimi” Vaughan. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was an auxiliary member of the Gideons International and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Danville, KY. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Shine; son, Clarence “Pete” Crowell, III; son, David Crowell; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Boyer; and grandson, Joel Seneff.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Seneff (Greg Sr.); her children’s spouses, Lynn Crowell, Pam Crowell and Chris Boyer; 5 grandchildren, Robert Crowell (Talicia); Rachael Lynch (Nathan); Alex Boyer (Shawna); Adam Boyer (Courtany); Greg Seneff, Jr. (Rachel); and 7 great grandchildren.
A memorial service visitation will be at 12 noon, Friday, November 17, 2023, at Grace Presbyterian Church with Pastor Shane Terrell officiating. The service will be at 1 p.m. with burial following at 2:30 p.m. at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations to Gideons International and Grace Presbyterian Church.
