A Madison County man was arrested on Dec. 3 by the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office after he traveled to Danville to engage in sexual activities with a person he believed was a juvenile female, according to BCSO.

Joshua Deaton, 32, of Paint Lick, was arrested during a traffic stop after he arrived and left from a prearranged meeting place with an undercover deputy posing online as a juvenile.

Deaton was transported to the Boyle County Detention Center where he was charged with two counts of promoting/procuring a minor to sexual performances by electronic means, which is a Class D felony.
