Library to host Game Night for all ages

The Boyle County Public Library offers free activities, special events, online resources, and numerous services for the community. Programs often include storytimes, crafting programs, art exhibits, and gaming events. Here is a closer look at some of the upcoming events at the library:
Library Game Night
Join us for Library Game Night on Thursday, January 4 from 6:00-8:00 PM. This is a social event for all-ages where you, your family, and your peers can come and enjoy a fun night of pizza, competition, and cooperation. The library will provide the food and a full collection of board games. Staff will be available to help you learn the games. This event will be held in the Community Room. (All ages)
Baby Storytime
Baby Storytime resumes on Monday, January 8 at 10:00 AM. This is a special storytime for babies and their caregivers to strengthen bonds and give encouragement for playing, reading and growing. This weekly event will be held in the Community Room. (Ages birth-18 months)
Storytime
Storytime resumes on Wednesday, January 10. Each week we will read stories and have a themed sensory activity for young children to enjoy. Storytimes will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30 AM in the youth department. Toddlers and preschoolers are all welcome to attend with their caregivers. (Ages 1-5)
12 Days of Winter Reading Challenge
You’re invited to celebrate the season with 12 Days of Winter Reading! Everyone who completes 12 days of reading is a winner in this winter reading challenge. Use your Beanstack account to track your reading to earn a 2024 Library calendar and chances to win our Grand Prizes. When you finish the first 12 days of reading, you’ll receive a chance to enter the Grand Prize drawings. Every time you complete 12 days of reading you earn an additional entry into the Grand Prize drawings. All ages are encouraged to participate. Holiday Closing
The Boyle County Public Library will be closed on Monday, January 1, 2024 for New Year’s Day. We wish all of our patrons a safe and happy new year.
