Boyle paying tribute to Junction City High School at Heritage Night game

For one night, the Junction City Red Devils will be on fire again.
The Boyle County boys will commemorate a former Boyle County school for the second straight year when they pay homage to Junction City High School during their Heritage Night before and during the Rebels’ game Saturday against South Laurel.
The Rebels will wear Junction City’s red and white colors and will recognize former players, cheerleaders, coaches and other alumni during the event.
It is the second in a series of annual tributes to the four county schools that were consolidated when Boyle opened in 1963: Forkland, Junction City, Parksville and Perryville. Forkland was recognized last season.
Boyle is reaching out to alumni and coaches who can be recognized during the game and looking for Junction City memorabilia that can be displayed in the lobby before and during the game.
Email Boyle coach Dennie Webb at dennie.webb@boyle.kyschools.us if you wish to participate or loan memorabilia or if you want more information about the event.
