Karen Denise Davis, 66, passed away Tuesday Jan. 16, 2024. Karen was the daughter of the late Merit and Loveta Lamb Curtis and was born February 22, 1957 in Mitchellsburg, Kentucky.

Karen was a former secretary for a medical office. She loved watching UK Basketball games. Karen loved to be outside where she could look at sunflowers and go bird watching. She also loved her cats. Most of all, Karen was a kind and loving person who cared about her family immensely.

Survivors include her husband, John Davis, a son, Rick (Norma) Cummins, a daughter, Angie Cummins, six grandchildren, Jason (Darian) Cummins, Austin (Kayla) Cummins, Brandon Cummins, Brittany Cummins, Maya Cummins, and Timothy Pianovski, two sisters, Rita Irvin and Darlene Schondel, and two brothers, Roger Curtis and Jackie Curtis.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Hilbert.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday Jan. 23 at Walden Funeral Home with burial immediately following at Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 23 also at Walden Funeral Home.

Pallbears will be Jason Cummins, Jason Irvin, Colin Shepperson, Brandon Cummins, Damon Collins, and Rick Cummins.
