Helen S. “Granny Dee” Doss, 89, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024. She was the daughter of the late William and Mary Bricken Stewart and was the widow of Earl Doss, who passed away in 2009.

Helen is survived by two sons, Rodney (Connie) Sims and Greg (Heather) Sims, a daughter, Rhonda Doss, seven grandchildren, Dylan Sims, Stevie (Lucas) McWhorter, Sarah (Micah) Greer, Rachel (Kyle) Walls, Justin (Kari Beth) Roution, Dalton Sims, and Cole Sims.

Helen is also preceded in death by a son, Skeeter Sims and his wife, Lisa.

Visitation Monday, February 12, 2024 11am-1pm at Walden Funeral Home. Funeral Service 1pm Monday, February 12, 2024 at Walden Funeral Home. Rev. Dean Carpenter will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Dylan Sims, Dalton Sims, Cole Sims, Justin Roution, Kyle Walls, and Paul Roution.
