The St. Asaph Daughters of the American Revolution awarded two local young people at their March meeting.

One of them is Shonda Barker, KSD’s 2024 Good Citizen Award Winner. Barker has attended KSD for two years and is a well-rounded student who has earned her CNA and Phlebotomy certification. She is a member of the varsity volleyball and basketball teams, FFA VP and a member of the while volunteering at her church, local homeless shelter, and other events.

Max Germann was named Boyle County High School’s Good Citizen and was the St. Asaph 2024 Scholarship Winner. He could not attend the meeting because he was competing in a swim meet – one of his many sports activities which also include track and cross country. Germann is an excellent student and excels in all that he sets out to accomplish.
