The Boyle County Fire Department responded to a call on March 25 at 03:19 a.m. reporting a one vehicle accident on Lebanon Rd in the Parksville area.

Upon arrival, BCFD found two occupants with minor injuries. The vehicle had extensive heavy front end damage after striking a large farm animal that was in the roadway.

Patients were examined and released by Boyle County EMS on the scene. BCFD remained on scene with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office while the towing service cleared the roadway. Units were on scene for around an hour and the roadway remained closed until all units had cleared.
