Responding officers were notified that Young had fled the area in a vehicle.  Officers located Young on Hill N Dale Drive and attempted to perform a traffic stop.  Young initially failed to yield and drove back to the scene where he encountered other Danville Police units.

At this point, Young stopped his vehicle and was taken into custody without incident.  Young was lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center on charges of Assault 2nd degree and fleeing/evading police.
