Three in Parksville arrested after fleeing police

On Tuesday, a deputy with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office observed a man, Mark Belcher, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked operator’s license on Lebanon Road traveling eastbound.
As the deputy attempted to catch up to the vehicle, the vehicle accelerated at a high rate of speed, in a reckless manner attempting to evade the deputy. The vehicle abruptly turned onto Johnson Branch Road also in a reckless manner, then abruptly turned into a driveway on Johnson Branch.
There were three subjects in the vehicle and all three were quickly detained. While the female, identified as Brandi Harmon, was exiting the vehicle, she threw a glass methamphetamine pipe away from the vehicle. Also found in Harmon’s possession was methamphetamine.
Arrested was Mark Belcher of Parksville. Belcher was charged with the following:
- Fleeing or Evading, Police (Motor Vehicle)
- Reckless Driving
- Operating on a Suspended/Revoked Operator’s License
- Failure to Wear Seatbelts
- No Registration Plates
- No Registration Receipt.
Arrested was Brandi Harmon of Parksville. Harmon was charged with the following:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
- Drug Paraphernalia
- Contempt of Court x2 (Boyle County).
Also arrested was Bronson Hartman of Parksville. Bronson was charged with the following:
- Parole Violation Warrant
- Failure to Appear (Boyle County).
All three were lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center.
