The Boyle County Extension Office hosted an Earth Day festival on Saturday, April 20, which was free to the public.
Attendees got to hear live music by Shane White, walk around the many booths by local organizations, and learn about ways they help the earth, and how people can better take care of the environment.
This year’s festival had 35 exhibitors including InterCounty Energy, Solarize Boyle, Central Kentucky Wildlife Refuge, Boyle County Farmers Market, and the Arts Commission.
Major sponsors are the Clarks Run Environmental Education Corporation, Bluegrass Greensource, Boyle County Solid Waste, Danville Public Works Dept. and the U.K. Extension Office.
