Danville’s sister city is Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland, and 22 Danvillians recently went on a trip to the city. They are pictured in front of the iconic 1171 Carrickfergus castle during the fourth Danville Sister Cities tour of Ireland, based in Galway and Dublin.

The group spent April 23 in Carrickfergus, where they hosted a lunch at Ownies Pub for mayors, exchange artists, musicians, and summer Uplift people who’ve spent time in Danville.
