Boyle County Schools has announced that the new Boyle County Early Learning Center is opening in July. It will be located in the Jennie Rogers Community Center at 410 E Main St. in Danville.

Operating under the umbrella of Boyle County Schools and in partnership with the city of Danville, the center aims to provide a nurturing and safe environment that fosters cognitive, social, and physical development in young learners in the Danville/Boyle County Community.

Equipped with six classrooms that will serve children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, the BCELC is dedicated to laying the foundation for academic success. The center’s curriculum has been thoughtfully crafted to prepare children for the transition into Kindergarten.

“We’re excited to provide a holistic approach to early childhood education,” said Tonia Darnell, Director of the BCELC. “Our goal is to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.”

The fully renovated facility boasts a range of amenities designed to enhance the learning experience. From a fully fenced playground to an indoor gross motor room and thoughtfully designed classrooms, every aspect of the center has been meticulously planned to promote exploration and discovery. Safety is a top priority, with features including controlled access, surveillance cameras throughout the premises, and adherence to both state childcare and school regulations.

The Early Learning Center has a one-time registration fee of $50. The tuition rate is $175 per week.

Food is $15 per week, but parents have the option to send in their child’s meals rather than purchase meals.

The late pick-up fee is $40. This fee will apply when children remain in the care of BCELC staff for 10 minutes after the official closing time.

The Boyle County Board of Education approved a draft of the Early Learning Center calendar. The first day of child care will be July 22. The center will be closed on major holidays, school breaks, and non-contract days. The full calendar can be viewed here: Boyle ELC 24-25 Boyle Calendar

Enrollment for the Boyle County Early Learning Center opens on June 3, offering prospective families an opportunity to secure a place for their child in this dynamic learning environment.
