This past weekend, the aurora borealis was visible in the sky all throughout Kentucky and other places across the country, which is a rare and unusual sighting.

A local 10-year-old, Ima Grace Gibson, spotted the Northern Lights in Perryville with her father, Eric Gibson. Ima Grace took these photos at around 5 a.m. Sunday morning.
