Addison Griebe was chosen as the winner of the 12th annual Danielle Thomas Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.
Addison is the daughter of Beth Griebe-Peake and Steve Griebe, and the step-daughter of Lyndsey Griebe and Steve Peake. Addison plans on attending Western Kentucky University and majoring in Music Education.
The scholarship was created following the death of Danielle Thomas, class of 2003, who was a six-year member of the Boyle County Marching Rebels. The scholarship is awarded annually to a senior band student.
