The festival will feature four performances throughout Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26.

CMS Artistic Directors David Finckel and Wu Han will present the performances in Shaker  Village’s Meadow View Barn overlooking picturesque pastures and rolling hills of Kentucky  bluegrass. In addition to performing themselves, Finckel and Wu Han will be joined by six exceptional artists, several of whom are excited to be making return appearances at the  festival.

Chamber music fans will also enjoy two educational lectures in the 1820 Meeting House given  by retired principal flutist of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra Michael Parloff. The lectures are open to all ticket holders and will explore the history of pieces performed during the festival.  Works presented this festival season include pieces from familiar composers including Beethoven, Brahms, Debussy and Schubert.
