Max Germann, a senior at Boyle County, has been named the 2024 Midway University/KHSAA Boys/Coed Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Year.

The award is based on athletic and academic achievement as well as community service and leadership.

Germann won the boys 3,200-meter run and finished second in the 1,600 last week at the Region 2A-5 championships, and he will finish his high school running career at the state meet later this week.

He finished seventh in the Class 2A boys race at the state cross country meet last fall, and he also competed on the Boyle swim team.
