Pet of the Week

The Pet of the Week is Moose, a handsome gent with a gorgeous chocolate coat. He’s also one of the derpiest dogs we’ve ever met!
Like most Labradors, Moose is playful and intelligent, with a warm, friendly temperament. He’s an easy-going, high energy guy who craves attention and exercise.
This goofy 2-year-old lunk has so much fun in doggie play groups! He welcomes every single dog with a big grin and gallops around the yard, fast as the wind. (Maybe not.) One of Moose’s favorite things to do is mess around in the kiddie pool splish-splashin’ away. Another fave is to run up to humans when he’s soaking wet and drooling!
It seems like Moose is always wet somehow, and he’s developed a yeast infection on his side. We’re treating it but the cement floor he’s living on isn’t helping at all. What he really needs is a soft, dry, space to heal, do you have room? Meet this Meathead soon, I know he’ll make you swoon, then you’ll take him home where his skin will improve! (Please note, dear reader: the author is not a poet.)
Moose is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today. Meet this sweet boy at DBCHS between 1-5 pm Monday & Tuesday, Noon-5 on Wednesday, 11-7 on Thursday, 1-4 on Friday, and 10-3 Saturday. Apply now: dbchs.org/adopt. We hope to see you soon!
