Arnold is Tourism Office’s new marketing and communications specialist

The Danville-Boyle County Tourism Office’s board of directors have promoted Candace Arnold into the newly-created position of marketing and communications specialist.

Arnold was hired in April 2022 as the tourism office’s executive assistant. Since then, Arnold has completed two years of Marketing College in Macon, Ga. and taken on ever-increasing responsibilities, assisting with marketing Danville to potential visitors.

In her new role, Arnold will develop content for the tourism office’s social media channels and website, implement new marketing projects and campaigns, create new marketing materials, and manage numerous aspects related to the day-to-day operations of the tourism office.

Arnold is a graduate of Boyle County High School and Eastern Kentucky University, where she earned a degree in Public Relations.
