Rickey L. Bradley

1953-2017

Rickey L. Bradley, 64, of Stanford, KY passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. Born January 10, 1953, in Deep Creek, KY (Mercer County), he was the son of the late James and Lois Tyler Bradley.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam and was a retired employee of M&M Sanitation where he worked as a truck driver. Prior to his employment at M&M Sanitation he worked as a truck driver hauling cars. He was also a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Jenny Castle Bradley of Stanford, KY; one son, Mike Taylor of Somerset, KY; two brothers, Tom Bradley (Sharon) and Jeff Bradley (Beth) both of Deep Creek, KY; one grandson, Hunter Taylor of Halls Gap, KY; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation and celebration of life service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017, at Freedom Baptist Church in Stanford. Visitation will be from 2-6:30 p.m. with celebration of life service beginning at 6:30 p.m. with Reverend Jeremy Pope officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to the Pope Adoption Fund (c/o Sandra Castle, 3505 U.S. HWY 27 N., Stanford, KY 40484). Spurlin Funeral Home, Stanford is in charge of the arrangements.
