Vernon “Yogi” Caudill

1935-2017

Vernon “Yogi” Caudill, 81, of Hustonville, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at his home. He was the widower of Nell Annette Flannery Caudill. Vernon was born November 7, 1935, in Letcher County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late John D. and Virgie Eldridge Caudill. He was a member of the Crab Orchard Old Regular Baptist Church. He was a retired Hod Carrier. He was a member of the Hod Carriers and Labor Union # 274 for 50 years.

Survivors Include: Four children, Margaret Ann Hiser, Homer Lee Caudill and fiancé Alice Sullivan,

Jeanne Sue and husband, Robert Mings, and Joseph and wife, Michelle Caudill; 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie Holder; one brother, Ernest and wife, Janet Caudill.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael Lee Caudill; 7 brothers and sisters; 2 sons-in-law, Jimmy Busse and James Hiser.

Funeral Date & Time: 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

Place of Services: McKnight Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation was 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017, at McKnight Funeral Home
