1959-2018

Marva Lea Broadus, 58, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Landmark of Lancaster.

She was born on October 24, 1959, in Garrard County to Patsy and the late William Carrol Broadus. Marva worked for Lex-Pro in Lexington and Pioneer in Danville for many years. She loved her animals, especially her dogs and horse. The most important aspect of her life was the Lord, and her church New Antioch Christian Church.

Surviving is her mother, Patsy Broadus of Lancaster; a brother, Billy Carroll Broadus of Danville; a sister, Ann Broadus of Lancaster; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Val McCord and Rev. Harold McLaren officiating. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville.

Visitation will be Wednesday 5-9 p.m.

Active pallbearers are Josh Gaffney, Gary Coffman, Zeke Gaffney, David Adams, Ricky Davis, Darrell Edgington, Chris Broadus, and Duke Gaffney. Honorary pallbearers are Hugh and Wilma Davis, Patsy Miller, Bobby and Mona Reed, Patsy McLaren, Jin Marshbanks, and Betty Rose Cox.

Memorial contributions can be made to New Antioch Christian Church.
