Solid waste and recycling collection

Due to weather and road safety conditions Republic Services cancelled Solid Waste and Recycling collection for Danville-Boyle County and Garrard, Lincoln, and Mercer Counties on Monday. The updated schedule includes: Boyle County –Residential collection will run one day behind beginning on Tuesday, March 13 through Saturday, March  17; The City of Perryville and Boyle County unincorporated Residential Collection which will run on Wednesday, March 14; Commercial Collection will run beginning on Tuesday, March 13 and continue until caught up. Bradfordsville Jamboree set for Friday

The Bradfordsville Jamboree will be held Friday, March 16 at the Old Bradfordsville School gym. Doors open at 5 p.m. for meal. Music begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $10. Meal items include pulled pork barbecue, pinto beans and cornbread, potato salad, dessert and drink. Cost is $9. Concessions of hot dogs, chili dogs, chips, popcorn, candy bars, etc. will also be available. All food is sold separately. Music will be by Kentucky South Band/Phillip Clarkson. Hooves of Hope photoshoot fundraiser

Hooves of Hope will be having a photoshoot fundraiser Saturday and Sunday, April 14 and 15. Each photoshoot will last a half-hour and will have multiple scene options including our horses in a field, an old barn, 1971 sidestep Chevy truck, back-country lane, and an overlook of the lake. The photographers will edit the photos and send you the photos along with a copyright release. Casey County Hospital District Board of Trustees – 6 p.m. tonight (Tuesday, March 13) in the board room in the Administration Building. 

Danville-Boyle County Airport Board –  6 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at the airport to discuss general business.
