Earth Day in the Bluegrass

Hundreds of people visited the Danville campus of Bluegrass Community and Technical College Saturday for Boyle County’s Earth Day celebration. Booths taught attendees about water quality, native animals, local wildlife, solar power, environmentally friendly practices, monarch butterflies and more. Workshops were also available, including on septic system maintenance. The event featured live Bluegrass music and food sold by Smoky and the Brisket.
