Betty Sue (Flynn) White was born on December 17, 1942, in Danville, to Luther Jay Flynn and Nola (Kidd) Flynn. She went to be with the Lord on October 7, 2018 in Noble, Oklahoma at the age of 75.

Betty has been a resident of Lindsay, Oklahoma since 1971. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lindsay. She was also a member of the Friendship Club.

Betty was a graduate of the Junction City High School in Junction City. She married William “Joe” Burnside and together they had two sons, Tony and Brad. On April 15, 2000 she remarried Bob H. White in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She was a retired receptionist from the Boydston Funeral

Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She also spent time as a hairdresser.

Betty loved all the time she could get with her family. Being a grandmother was her greatest joy in life and she enjoyed getting together with her fellow members of the Friendship Club. Betty had a heart for children, she was always looking for ways to love on all the babies through the Children’s Ministry at her church.

Left to cherish Betty’s memory is her husband, Bob White of the home; her son, Brad and wife Angelique Burnside of Noble, Oklahoma; her step-children, JoRene Gradberry of Danville, Robin Emerson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Joseph Burnside of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Bradley White of Houston, Texas; her brothers, Carrol Flynn of Luling, Texas, Billy Flynn of Goshea, Ohio, David Flynn of Sumpter, South Carolina, and Jimmy Flynn of Danville; her grandchildren, Meagan and Madison Burnside, Grace and Noah Burnside, Chazlie Brey, and Maegan McMurray; her step-grandchildren, Shannon Ritchey, Shelby Owens, Brennen Burnside, and Summer White; her great grandchildren, Keltzie and Emily Jones, Mayci McMurray, Bentlee and Jaylon Burnside; and four step great grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Nola Flynn; first husband and father of her children, William J. “Joe” Burnside; her son, Jay Anthony “Tony” Burnside; her sisters, Nancy Ritter and Ruth Ann Guellin; and brothers, Charley, Bobby, and Stephen Flynn.

Services were Thursday, October 11, 2018.
