St. Asaph DAR Christmas meeting

St. Asaph Daughters of the American Revolution will have its Christmas meeting at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at the Danville Country Club. St. Asaph DAR will also participate in the Danville Christmas parade this Saturday at 7 p.m.

Any woman 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible.

Anyone who is interested in their heritage is invited to attend a DAR meeting and find out what the organization is about.

Meeting

Boyle County 4-H Livestock Club — 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Dec. 8, at the UK Sheep Farm, 1171 Midway Road, Versailles. The Livestock Club will not be meeting on Dec. 17.
