Judy Carol McCowan McAninch

1960-2019

Judy Carol McCowan McAninch, 58, of Moreland, passed away Sunday, Jan. 27. She was born in Danville on March 15, 1960, to Mildred Clarkston McCowan Crow of Somerset and the late Edward Lee McCowan. She is survived by her husband, Johnnie McAninch. Working as a registered nurse, she spent her life caring for others. She was a member of the Herrington Lake Pentecostal Church.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter, Jade (Ezekiel) Nantz of Stanford; two sons, Derek McAninch of Shelbyville and Jordan McAninch of Stanford; three brothers, Michael (Debbie) McCowan of Moreland, Eddie (Judy) McCowan of Moreland, and Rick (Becky) McCowan of Hustonville; three sisters, Connie (Eddie) Campbell of Danville, Patricia Jackson of Danville, and Debbie McCowan of Louisville; seven grandchildren, Marlee, Gunner, Beckett, Berkley, McKayla, Tinley, and Elijah; stepfather, J.T. Crow; mother-in-law, Aggie McAninch; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. by Bro. Larry Holbook and Bro. Mark Tolson at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Jackie Campbell, Travis Campbell, Brayden McCowan, Billy McCowan, Garry Allen, and Wayne Lyons. Honorary pallbearers will be Derek McAninch, Jordan McAninch and Ezekiel Nantz.
