Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital is pleased to recognize and honor one of its nurses for her extraordinary patient care. Stephanie Todd, RN, a nurse in the Birthing Spa at Fort Logan, was one of many nurses nominated for the DAISY Award. A resident of Mercer County, Stephanie has been caring for patients at Fort Logan for more than nine years.

She was nominated by several coworkers and patients. One of the patients said, “Stephanie went out of her way to spend time with me and my baby. She got to know me and spoke with me on a personal level, giving me comfort and feeling like a friend, not just a patient. She made sure I had all I needed, as well as frequently checking on me. She helped guide me in doing things with my baby, which as a first time mother was very helpful and heartwarming.”
