Wanda Frances Smith Kirkpatrick

1935-2019

Wanda Frances Smith Kirkpatrick, 84, of Stanford, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.

Born Wednesday, January 23, 1935, in Waynesburg, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Harrison Smith and Mary Ann Chrisman Smith. Wanda was a member of Stanford Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Edward, Eldrid, Freeman, and Donald Smith; sisters, Mildred Reynolds, Thelma Stempfly, Rosamond Taylor, Ada Payne, Audra Pepper, and Irene Feese.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Odell Kirkpatrick; sons, Dale (Linda) Kirkpatrick, and Roger (Susan) Kirkpatrick, all of Stanford; daughter, Lisa (Jeff) Sergent, of Danville; grandchildren, Kevin (Tiffany) Kirkpatrick, Kris Kirkpatrick, Kaitlin (Alex) Dougherty, Rachel (David) Harrison, Anthony Sergent, Alex Sergent; great-grandchildren, Jackson, AnnaGrace and Ella Kate Kirkpatrick, and Elijah Harrison.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Stanford Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Gutenson officiating and burial following at Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kevin, Jackson and Kris Kirkpatrick, Anthony and Alex Sergent, and Steve Feese. Honorary pallbearers include Jeff Sergent, Alex Dougherty, and David Harrison.
