Judy Mercer of Stanford is a new author who has just published her first children’s story, “Arden the Airedale.”

Published in January with Archway Publishing, the book is based on a true story and is a dedication to an aging beloved pet Airedale named Arden, which belongs to her daughter, Alicia. The story itself took place in Lexington while Alicia was a student at the University of Kentucky.

Mercer’s book can be found on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Archway Publishing, as well as gift stores and restaurants in the area. The book can also be purchased from Mercer.
