Beverly “Bev” Moore

1940-2019

Beverly “Bev” Moore of Dover, Delaware, formerly of Magnolia, Delaware, and Eubank, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 21, 2019 at home. She was 78.

Mrs. Moore was born October 10, 1940, in Woodstock, Kentucky to the late Luther Blanton, Sr. and Bertha (Hargis) Blanton. After the passing of her mother, she was raised by her stepmother, Frances Blanton. She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting angels and mostly spending time with her grandsons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl “Bodie” Franklin Moore; and brother, Ronald Blanton.

She is survived by her daughter, Christy Hannah Moore of Wilmington, Delaware; siblings, Trudy Blanton of Dover, Delaware, Barbara Perigo and her husband Ronald of Melbourne, Florida, Dale Blanton and his wife Louida of Willow Grove, Delaware and Luther Junior Blanton and his wife Charna, of Eubank, Kentucky; grandchildren, Jesse Mitchell, Benjamin Moore, Christopher Richardson and Isaiah Moore; and stepsister and stepbrother, Lois Ann and Robert M.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, April 29, 2019 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover, Delaware. Friends may call one hour prior.

A second visitation will be held 11 a.m. -12 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home, 545 KY Hwy 328 West, Waynesburg, KY 40489. A second funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Pastor Troy Roberts will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Woodstock Cemetery in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
