A juvenile on a bike was hit by a vehicle Tuesday evening while traveling across West Main Street. According to a release from the Danville Police Department, officers responded to the injury collision at 6:47 p.m. Tuesday.

Sharon Stevens, 62, of Danville was traveling west, driving a 2011 Kia Sedona when she collided into the right side of 13-year-old male on a bike, who was crossing both lanes of traffic on Main Street from the northwest corner of Fifth Street.

Danville Fire Department and Boyle County EMS also assisted. The juvenile was taken to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center and the extent of the injuries were not known. Jacob Ruhe is the investigating officer.
