A celebration service will be held at 9:30 a.m. followed by a brief program and luncheon celebration.

Pastor Witten was installed as minister in July, 1981, as a graduate from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He has served as minister at Our Savior during his entire ministry.

“It has been the joy of my life to serve the congregation of Our Savior for the past 38 years. I love the people in our congregation and the people of the surrounding community,” Pastor Witten said. “I have had the privilege, to baptize, confirm and marry members of our congregation. It is my family in Christ.”

Members of the community are welcome to join both the service and the reception May 12.
