Bravo! Kids to perform

Students who have been participating in the third annual Bravo! Kids camp will be giving the performance “Give My Regards to Broadway” at 6 p.m. today and Wednesday at Danville High School’s Gravely Hall Performing Arts Center.

Tickets for tonight’s show is a suggested $5 at the door. Tickets for Wednesday’s performance will be $8 at the door.

Bravo! Kids is an extra-curricular arts program/summer camp of the Danville Independent Schools for students to explore the performing and visual arts.

Under the direction of choreographer Evelyn Lackney, and music director Scott Walker, 25 students between the ages of 6 to 17 have been exploring all aspects of musical theater.

Housing Authority of Danville — 9 a.m. Thursday, June 13 at the Housing Authority of Danville Central Office, 1014 Rosemont Ave. Agenda includes: Approval of minutes for the board meeting May 20, bills paid for May 2019, collection loss for June 2019; contract for admin. Office siding replacement and purchase of maintenance vehicle. Other items to be considered: Review/revise employee handbook, vacancy list, resident services report and residents newsletter.

Boyle and Mercer County Joint Jail Committee — 1:30 p.m. Friday, June 14 at Mercer County Fiscal Court. Agenda includes: Shepherd’s House IOP Update; Jailers Report; GTL Contract; e. Southern Health Partners – Contract; RFQ for Jail Facility A/E Services Update; May Financial Statement.

St. Asaph Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution  Friday, June 14 at 11:30 a.m. at the Danville Country Club for a luncheon meeting. Any woman 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, who can  prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible.
