Niche.com ranks Boyle County School District in top 10

Boyle County School District was ranked in the top 10 school districts in Kentucky in five categories by Niche.com in its 2020 ratings. The district’s highest standing was in the category Safest School Districts in Kentucky with Boyle County Schools, ranking third out of 172.

“We take the safety of the students at our schools very seriously,” said Chris Holderman, Assistant Superintendent for Boyle County Schools. “We appreciate an outside agency recognizing the work we put into our students’ wellbeing.”

Niche.com also ranked Boyle County School District as the fifth-best school district in Kentucky. The district also is number 5 on the list of the districts with the best teachers in Kentucky and 10th for the best places to teach in Kentucky. The district also came in at number 10 for the best school district for athletes in Kentucky. These rankings all were out of 172 school districts.

Of the quality of the teachers in the district, Assistant Superintendent David Young stated, “Our teachers bring their best to school each day. This ranking reveals they are doing a great job because they like working here, and that enthusiasm truly shines through.”

Throughout more than 13,500 school districts in the country, Boyle County Schools also performed impressively. Again, it came in as one of the safest districts, ranking number 210. Other top 500 rankings included Best School Districts in America (#435), Districts with the Best Teachers in America (#349), and Best School Districts for Athletes in America (#480).
