Taxpayers shouldn’t subsidize any of our private businesses

The issue of animal composting is not as complicated as portrayed. Taxpayers should not have to pay for an individual’s business expense (farms are businesses). It is much more sanitary to compost the animal where it is at, moving it only to separate it from the other animals. Issues arise from having too much of one thing on a given area such as a composting facility. Tree services are always looking for a place to dump wood chips. Talk to them and they will bring you all that you want, free. I have given people wood chips for this very purpose in the Fayette County area. I believe the best solution is to take care of this problem in house — most farmers have the equipment to move an animal and chips to a suitable area on their property.
