The Splashin at the Chaplin Kentucky DockDogs Club competition will be held this weekend at Millennium Park in Danville. In past years, the competition was held in Perryville, but construction of the new bridge over Chaplin River caused the event to be relocated this year.

Local competitor and DockDogs athlete, Grayson, along with his teammate and handler, Boyle County Sheriff’s Deputy Taylor Bottom, will also be competing in the “dock diving” events in a specialized pool that will be set up at the park Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The public is invited to watch as dogs from all over the region compete in Big Air Wave, Extreme Vertical and Speed Retrieve events for professionals, semi pro, contender and amateur events.
